After the events of September 11, 2001 everyone in the Nation, especially the public safety sector, became acutely aware of the need to be more prepared to deal with mass casualty incidents.
Having served the emergency services field since 1979 by providing quality emergency equipment and supplies at reasonable prices, Southeastern was called on by the emergency services sector to help. Southeastern responded by consulting experts in the disaster management field about what products we needed to add to our product line. As a result we added product lines such as Reeves, North Safety Products, Lakeland, FSI North America, Disaster Management Solutions, Command Post, North American Rescue, Conterra, etc.
Many of our customers also told us that they needed a way to organize, store and be able to transport equipment and supplies to the incident location. Southeastern again responded by providing mass casualty trailers.
